I do have Pcos. I have to stay on birth control in order to have a regular cycle. recently (3 months my periods are even skant with birth control - brown/ pink discharge only when I wipe) during the placebo week. lasting 1-3 days only.
also i have noticed increased hair growth on my face. I have always had mustache and some stray hairs. now i can see a thin beard growing. I have very black hair and it is getting very noticable.

any thoughts or suggestions on what to do. anyone in a similar vote? help please.

You may want to speak with your doctor about this. Some birth control pills can affect your hair growth, so if this growth is related to your birth control pills then you may need a lower dosage.

wow...i watched something similar about this on "mystery diagnosis" the woman stopped menstruating at 15 so they put her on b.c. so she could get a "period"...after 10 years she wanted to go off of b.c. and try to have a baby but couldn't conceive and if she did very shortly after she miscarried..this went on for years and doctors couldn't diagnose her...finally she was diagnosed by a doctor with pcos as well...and for years thats what she thought she had...however she went back to get a different opinion and they found out that it wasn't pcos it was an issue with her hormones(not from her ovaries) but from a different place...i completely forgot the diagnosis, i really wish I remembered the name but she had higher than normal levels of testosterone as well i think which was causing the stray hairs she had and the excessive B.O......i agree with maddie though, go see a doctor about it

the hair growth is not related to the pill I have always had it in pre-birth control. but lately it has gotten worse up until lately the pill has kept me from growing more. i am on a low dose.
