I went swimming as a part of my new workout plan. When I got out of the pool, my face was red, which is expected after I work out. This red on my face didn't go away, like normal. The red became splotchy, hot, and dry. It burns and itches, still two days later, though the red has faded a little. Using moisturizer burns and hurts, but my face is dry. It is only on my face, no where else. Is this an allergic reaction to chlorine?or chemical burn?why only my face? what can I do to make my face stop hurting? Please tell me whatever you can, I can't find anything about facial allergies........Thank you.

I would say this is because your face is tender and not used to harsh chemicals...To me it sounds like a reaction from the chlorine....Have you tried Cedaphil?...Even better ask your Pharmacist if he/she can suggest anything that would help...If none of these work then seek out your Dermatologist and they should be able to help you...Take care....
