hi all

I am new to this forum I woke this morning and my face felt sore to touch like I had a bruise, from a fall which I didn't it was from my forehead to my cheekbone has anyone experienced this as it is a little worrying, and I am very tired as well, well maybe that is due to my 14 month old waking me up very early, and by the way it is on the right side of my face, all suggestions welcome

Right sided face pain can sometimes be from a tooth infection, an ear infection, or a sinus infection. I guess you could be so over-tired from the baby that you fell out of bed or walked into the door and don't remember it (just kidding, sort of). The infections usually come with other symptoms, like runny nose etc etc. Occasionally a pinched or inflamed nerve can do this - no upper respiratory symptoms, pain is like the "brain freeze" you get from eating something too cold
