Q: Face flatter on one side!

I've noticed that I can feel the little indentation in front of each ear - the tragus - but on the bad side - the one with the crepitus and ear pain - there is a big indentation, like a plate that's sunken in - it is not on the other side. Can anyone relate to this?

Well not exactly, but sort of. Below the ears is where i feel an indentation. On the side that i have no popping, the bone feels rounded, as opposed to the other side, that feels like it's been eaten in or something.

I wish I could explain it better - the "bad" side with the crepitus, etc, is sunken in - the size of a silver dollar, and flat. The other side feeld normal, not sunken in.....

no, it's not visible - but when I feel the area, it is flat verses the other side, which is "filled out"The flat area is about 1 inch in front of the ear...

nope - no surgery, but the flat area is definitely FLAT - the other side is normally filled out - the flat side is the side with the crepitus/popping and ear pain.....
