Chalazion are not an infection but rather chronically inflamed areas. They can come from styes of the eye that resolve or may result from obstruction of tear glands. They don't respond to antibiotics. Frequent warm compresses to the eyelid may help them resolve.
An opthalmologist, eye doctor, can help greatly in evaluating your complaints further. Confirmation that you are experiencing chalazion will be helpful. Surgical treatment or cortisone injection are sometimes used in large, bothersome chalazion.
