Hi
Welcome to the forum!
It is sad that your friend had to get both her eyes removed because of retinal blastoma. However there is still no success with whole eye transplant. What is normally discussed as an eye transplant is actually a cornea transplant in people who have an intact retina.
Though it is sad, whole eye transplant is not a possibility today.
Hope this helps. Take care!
