I know it's possible to burst the blood vessels in your eyes when you throw up- I had a bulimic friend to whom this happened quite often. Still have it checked out though!

I agree with a74331cj. It sounds like a broken blood vessel in the eye. Years ago, before I gave up on 'partying', I had too much to drink and became violently ill. I burst a blood vessel in my eye while throwing up and it took nearly a week for it to return to normal. I don't think there is anything that wil help it except time. I tried eye drops, cold compresses, flushing my eye with water... all to no avail.
