Severe eye pain, accompanied with nausea, vomiting (throwing up), headache, blurry vision or seeing halos around lights with reddening of the eye and profuse tearing, could be symptoms of acute glaucoma.
Glaucoma is an eye disorder that warrants medical attention as soon as possible.

See your eye doctor immediately!
