acouple days ago i woke up with a headache and a eye pain . the head went away but i still have the eye pain the day before yesterday i layed down ti sleep when i woke up my eye was swollen. the swelling went down later but i still have the eye pain can some one please tell me a way to treat this thank you

Hiya,is the pain quite bad and causes some swelling or running of the eye? if it does could possibly be cluster headaches wich i suffer , though they are quite severe, look it up and see if any other similar symptoms

yes the pain is quite bad and swelling did occur but how do i treat it

well if it is cluster headaches, youl really need to do some re search to find this out, check out clusterheadaches.com , they have an on line quizz to take and see if any other symptoms match up,if they do then youl need to see your doc and get reffered to a nuro

Hi jucylucy,
I have lived with clusterheadaches for about 20 years now. Mine come every 3-4 years and last about 4 months or so and then back in remission. Because I am remission most of the time it has been hard to find anything that works however imitrex injections have been the best way to go. I do not know another living soul who experiences this demon-like headache that I am glad to meet you. I was just curious to know about your experiences with this and if you have any suggestions.
