Is it normal to have pain behind your eye after having your eyes dialated. I have been having problems with blurry and double vision for the last two months. After seeing multiple doctors and having multiple scans done they are looking at Graves Ocular disease and Myasthenia gravis disease. I just had my eyes dialated for the third time in 6 weeks and after each dialation I have had pain behind my left eye for two or three days afterwards. It especially hurts to look up like you would if you were putting eye drops in. The vision problems are much worse in my left eye. I was wondering if that pain is normal or if it could be an indicator that would point me in the direction of what is going on with my vision.

Pain in your eyes after dilation is not normal. I have pain sometimes when I look in different directions but never because of my dilation drops, and my doctors never told me why I had the pain when I moved my eyes.
