Try a deep cleaning shampoo, or even call a local salon for a good one..That might help

hi,
i'm in 9th grade and I have a similar probem except mines worse. Right after I get out of the shower and dry my hair the back of my head is already greasy! Basically, it is never not greasy back there and it's so frustrating because I can't go to school with my hair looking like that everyday...I have not been able to wear my hair down once since i've started school and right now i'm desperate to find a solution, as are thousands of other people, i'm sure. My mom does a lot of the researching but she talks with me about what she finds. I'm willing to try anything but most doesn't work and some shampoos and cleansers are so expensive that it's not even worth trying to find out it doesn't work.

I'll let you know if I find anything! :)

i also have oily hair, but I noticed that it was my birth control that was causing this. I switched to the contraceptive sponge this week, so I see how that helps.

And I also wanted to point out to lar2168, I don't think you wash out the oil completely. Try to search online for a shampoo that is targeted especially for oily hair. Such as this : http://www.Healthyh airplus.Com/oily_hair.Htm

h ttp://www.Mothernature.Com/library/bookshe lf/books/47/101.Cfm

exoil from nexxus is also good. You can find it in a beauty supply store or a salon that carried nexxus products.
