Q: Extremely light period after Medical Abortion...

I had a medical abortion for an ectopic pregnancy on Easter weekend in April. I had about 12 days of bleeding, well within the normal range, had all of my follow up blood tests and even an ultrasound to make sure that a DNC was not necessary to get anything else. Everything came back clear, and I was able to keep the tube. I was ecstatic.

Now though, I am bleeding incredibly lightly and have been for 3 days. I heard from my doctor that the first period after a Medical Abortion could be heavier then normal, but this shows absolutely no signs of getting any heavier... is something wrong? Should I go back to the doctor or just wait it out?

i have been bleeding and spotting for the past 2 months after my MA. I'm being told that it is hormones. It can take a few months for your hormones to get back to normal, also, you could be ovulating, as that can cause light spotting when estrogen kicks in again.
