Q: extremely itchy vagina

I've NEVER been to a gynocologist. I scared out of my mind. But for the last couple of months my vagina has been itching like mad. I also have a tiny bump by my clitoris. What can this be? Can I buy an over-the-counter drug or cream if possible??? Help me out please.

Are you sexualy active?
How does the bump look like?
Do you have some discharge that looks white and clumpy, like cottage cheese, or a gray discharge with fish-like odor?

hmm..i dun have a bump but i have the cottage cheese discharge at times, otherwise its flat and light yellow (currently only the yellow). mine itches mostly during menstruation and after menstruation.
