Discharge now and then I know is normal, and I know that if it smells bad or looks a certain way, to be alarmed. But today i was surprised when I thought I was starting my period (which was WAAAAY to early, but i didnt want to have anything... dribble out while i went to visit my boyfriend), I started to put in a tampon and as soon as i pushed it in and began to remove the plastic part, tons of clear discharge came out. it literally made a puddle on my floor,like the sink had leaked a little bit. I know that that was WAY too much to be healthy but I dont even know what it was. It seemed like.. water. But that didnt make sense at all. help?

Clear watery discharge is normally an ovulation sign. Since you are saying that it is way early for your period, it can possibly be that. This is controlled by your hormones. Some times your hormones will just go out of whack and cause strange things like this to happen, especially during puberty.

If you are sure it is not an vaginal infection, you should not wotry about it too much unless it happens regularly.
