Hello everyone,
I have just got back from the doctors where i came to him explaining i have been feeling extremely thirsty for the past 11 days. His first thoughts were diabetes but after doing a test on my urine he said that the sugar levels were fine and that it was just a habit ive got into and that i am not actually thirsty. Right now i am feeling extremely thirsty after already having a pint of water about 30min ago. Could my urine have been so watered down that the diabeties test got a false negative (my urine is completely clear)? I have been drinking ALOT of water/squash atleast 4litres a day. A friend said that increased levels of Thiamine (found in pork which i eat alot of) could cause me to pee alot and cause this thirst, but i have found no information to back this up...
Does anyone have any ideas? Should i stop drinking so much and see if i get dehydrated? Or should i get a second opinion?
