Q: extreme pain at beginning of sex

me and my boyfriend have been having sex for about a month and recently i have been having extreme extreme pain right when his penis is entering me. we use lubricants and he wears a condom, it hurts so much ive had to tell him we cant do it a few times. this has never happened before and after a while the pain goes away the wetter i become... is this normal? why does it hurt to the point where i cant stand it? i have a very high pain tolerance so this is very abnormal for me

Are you putting lubrication on his penis AND around your vagina? Are you doing enough foreplay before actual sex?

Are you relaxing your muscles when he enters?

Its not normal to ever feel pain during sex, but it doesn't mean its not an easy fix. You just need to find out exactly what's causing it.

thanks maddie, ya lubrication is put on both areas and there is ALOT of foreplay, im going to ask my doctor when i go in a few weeks
i am always very anxious and excited so maybe i do need to concentrate more on relaxing
