About a week ago I began to experience extreme fatigue, minor difficulty in getting full breath, dizziness and an inability to focus. I believed it was due to the stress of working a full time job, full time masters degree program, and other household/family stresses. So I powered through. This weekend I slept all weekend. Getting up only for about 5-6 hours in the day and absolutely zonking out again. I also began to feel achy back and leg pains as well. I assumed from sleeping too much. Now today, still fatigued and having a hard time concentrating, I used the bathroom, and found blood in the bowl (not my period) and a blood clot came from my anus. It was bright red and I've been leaking a little bit of blood for about two or so hours since. Only very slightly. My lower back near the kidney area is a bit achy and inside I feel sort of twitchy near where I think my colon might be. Is this something I need to rush in for? Is this just a simple fissure or hemorroid that will heal itself or should I be concerned? I have a doctor's appt for May 21 but I feel maybe I should move it up a bit. Any help is very appreciated.

anal bleeding
I have a similar problem. My anus bleeds and is very painful when stools passed although mine isn't as bad as yours. I hope. I have been doing some research online and found out that it could/might be a colon or rectum cancer and not to alarm you too much but most of the symptoms you have describe seems very similar to what I've read and I strongly believe that you should see a doctor as soon as possible about it and I'm doing the same.

Goodluck and I hope and pray that it is not serious.

All the best and keep healthy and happy no matter what! Smile Take care! Smile

Celiac Disease
Yes, go to a docter ASAP. Your symptoms could be caused by a number of things. One is Celiac Disease which can cause severe anemia and fatigue. Check on the celiac.org website for their new brochure which includes a list of the tests a doctor needs to order for you (many doctors are behind the times regarding Celiac Disease and don't order all the right test which can result in false negative diagnosis). Good luck.
