I have been diagnosed with Endo by laparoscopy last Feb. I had went from not knowing when my period would stop or start to knowing down to the hour when it would start and stop. It seemed like a miracle to me. I had had horrible cramping starting as far back as 8 years old, I'm 23 now. Everything seemed to go away last Feb. Now things are coming back. Each month the day before I start I have to be sedated because of how bad the cramps are, and now the past two months each day I am cramping. This is now causing my stomach to be upset, and trying to go to work is out of the question since I can't sit up.

My question is if anyone is or has gone through this. My husband and I want kids so a hysterectomy is out of the question, I can't take "the pill" or other forms of birth control, and all medicines seem expensive. I was on Lupron three years back and loved it, but my insurance won't help pay for it. We are trying to conceive but even this seems to need a miracle....

I'm so desperate and the only people I have to talk about it to are my husband and my doctor ( $40 a session).....

I am 31 now and have always had extreme cramping during my periods since my first year at 12. I always wound up bowed over on my stomache in bed crying with cramps every cycle. I would always explain this to my mother and she would blow it off, she always had bad cramps too. I had my daughter when I was 18 and then I went on the Depo shot for 7 years. My husband and I decided we wanted another child at that time, hence I stopped the shot.I never had a period in all those years.I loved it being free from the pain. A year or two later I had an abnormal pap, I had them regularly then because I had insurance. I was referred to a gyno and he did a colposcopy and burned the tip of my cervix cause I had Dysplasia. He told me we would do this in one week due to the fact that it was extreme and at the point of cancer, I had no time.I was 26. Anyway, took care of that and now its back their just keeping an eye on it. Then the same sa you, 3 or 4 years ago I was at my gyno and we were discussing why it was so hard for me to become pregnant. I had been trying for like 6 years! That was just not right and I new it.After all the first time I ever had unprotected sex with my husband I got pregnant- SO EASY to do, right?! Well not now. He decided to do a procedure where they put me to sleep enject dye into mt tubes to see if they were blocked and he was also going to check everything else. Turns out I have ENDMETRIOSIS and my left tube is blocked.Sux for me right? well, I don't have insurance anymore and cant get the tube fixed-too expensive. Doc says I can still conceive, just have to practice ALOT more than anyone else! I have still been trying for the 3 or 4 years since then no luck. my periods seem to only get worse with time.I used to have period every other month for 4 days. Now, like u I know exactly when they're goin to hit because the pain is so bad I cant get out of bed either and also cannot work but my daughter is now 13 so it's not hard to deal with her,but my husband gets annoyed sometimes and seems to think I can't be hurting that bad because most other women don't. He does love me he just gets frustrated and hates seeing me when my periods are like this. There's nothing he can do.Like u I had the choice of a histerectomy and that is out since I want another baby. Which everyone thinks I'm crazy because every woman on my mothers side of the family has died from cancer and histerectomy is all they see. I want a son my husband is the only son in his family and therfore the last to carry the name. I will tell u that I have several friends who have had ENDO and had it pretty bad too and they still conceived. One had taken the contraceptive that basically puts u into menopause for 6 months and after that she had 2 children in 2 years! the other one i cant remember what she did but she had 2 children after the fact as well. I am lying in bed now and just got off my period day before yesterday I WAS fine until last night I started having excruciating pains again and am at the time bed ritten. I have to constantly take midol and cannot sleep well with all the hot flashes but I have no insurance now so I'm goin to the health department 4 a pap. If it is abnormal they will supplement income for 45 days so I can get help. So I am going to tell you to not give up you have several options, and different outcomes like I've shared with you. Just keep trying and I wish you the best!

I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts last summer. I had surgery in August to remove them, and my doctor found slight endometriosis. I was doing pretty good for a few months and then I noticed a little pain again but thought I was just being paranoid. On feb 1st I went to the ER and they performed an ultrasound and found that cysts have developed on the same ovary. My cramping is getting worse and worse by each month. About a week ago as soon as I finished going to the bathroom I had such excruciating cramps that I was keeled over in bed crying for about 30 mins. The worst pains I have ever felt. And my periods are all out of wack. I didnt have one in January and I started on the 5th of february. Im still waiting for my march AF. My main problem is that my insurance wont cover for me anymore on this illness cuz I have already exhausted my $1500 limit! I need help because i dont know how much more pain I can handle!!
