For about 3 weeks now I have been experiencing constant upper abdominal bloating. I "always" feel like I've "over" eaten and am really full and my upper abdomen (just under the ribs) is distended. If I actually do eat "anything" I am so full feeling that I'm actually in pain. This anything can be something as small as a slice of cheese or a banana.

Surprisingly I have no gas or acid problems associated with this. It is surprising because I used to have frequent acid reflux but now it seems like there is no acid "at all" Other symptoms include extreme constant exhaustion to the point that I feel achy all over and headaches.

I feel horrible and am currently in search of a new doctor (due to a change in insurance). I have been told this sounds like gall bladder issues but everything I've read about gall bladder problems includes gas and acid which I don't have. Has anyone experience this? While I do know I need to see a doctor and am searching for one - any input at all would be helpful.

Early satiety can be due to few causes, like stomach and abdominal tumors, delayed stomach emptying, heartburn, Gastric outlet obstruction, irritable bowel syndrome, swollen spleen, liver disease.

Early satiety that lasts constantly for a long period of few weeks like in your case, warrants medical attention.
