I had my appendix removed June 12th. It is now July 4, almost 5 weeks later and my belly is so swollen it looks as if I'm 4 months pregnant. My surgeon says I need time to heal. When and how else can I get help. I can't fit into any of my pants.

Appendicitis operation - tummy expanding

Im facing the same problem Hun. Had my operation 5th November and my stomach
Is literally out there! Feel worried wearing my dresses- as it will look like I am pregnant.
How have you coped since June? Has the tummy expansion gone down??

Did your swelling go down? I am in the same position.... 6 weeks later and still having bloatedness, look pregnant, its embarrasing! I am normally so thin. Am worried ill be like this forever now. Did yours go away?
