My doctor was telling that extra virgin olive is bad for gout(usually spray some on my food everday)? Has anybody else heard this before?

ive heard the opposite ive heard that 3 and a half table spoons of extra virgin olive oil is equivalent to 200mg of ibuprofen anti inflammatory tablet

There seems to be a lot of consensus on Meat and Shellfish, but after that its a crap shoot. For every article you read about avoiding salmon, olive oil, beans, and mushrooms, you'll find another that says its fine.
