Q: extra Meds petit mals

Last time I had a grand maul I had petit-mal's before. Whenever I get a few petits I take full doses(sometimes 1,000 mg) in hope I dont have a seizure. It has helped since that last seizure, but am I just lucky? or is this a good way to handle the situation? keep in mind, whether you say im overdosing or not i never feel sick or anything.
