Hello,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out. You have not mentioned your gender but excessive hair growth is called hirsutism. Adrenal tumors and dysfunction and Cushing's syndrome are the commonest causes of hirsutism in males. Hirsutism is usually caused by hormonal imbalance and in women PCOS is one of the leading causes of hirsutism.

Overall, it is caused by endocrine abnormalities and hence i suggest you to get an evaluation done from an endocrinologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
