Q: External hemmoroid

Ahh, so, I have an external hemmoroid that doesn't hurt, itch or burn. BUT, it feels very uncomfortable, like I'm sitting on a golf ball or like gravity is sucking my butt out the other way.

I saw the colorectal guy who, to my surprise, said it's pretty small and isn't a big deal. But I'm uncomfortable. Can't find a good position to sit or stand or play with my daughter. Tough to play sports. Can't imagine life being like this indefinitely.

He put me on two weeks of Analpram and then said to use Calmoceptine. A week into the Analpram, things feel worse and look worse.

Anyone know if these treatments work? Anyone know if this is something that will become bearable? He told me I should need surgery and I certainly don't want it, especially after having a pilondial cyst removed a few years ago. That was months of hell and I know this would be worse. But I'm just not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and I feel like I'm crazy because it doesn't actually hurt. It's just a discomfort I can't get around.
