Ok I had my pap exam about a month ago and just recently I decided I want to go back on the pill...... sooo basically today I remembered I had a pack of pills that were unopened from last yr but the expiration date is June 2008 are these still ok to take????

(I called my dr and she is filling my rx this week)

I guess I wouldn't take them.
All medications lose potency over time and I don't really think I'd take any chances with bith control, unless you always use a back up method like condoms.

DO NOT use them! You will run a great chance of getting pregnant! ALL drugs are not effective if expired! You usually have until the end of the expired month but that is it! Wait until you can get your RX filled with a new one.
