Hoping others here who have this disorder may be able to give me some feedback, but for the past few years I have been suffering with TMJ Dysfunction (neck pain, ear pain, face pain).
It is because of these issues that I ended up stopped going to a gym all together as I knew I was unable to continue (I have also in the past few years notice randomly experienced stabbing type headaches, and on the odd occasion, headaches that felt like I had a electric shock.)
Now I would like to once again start a exercise program, taking into account my health issues.
I don't see myself doing strenuous exercises as that maybe a problem for my tmj, but perhaps light to moderate could be a possibility.
Can those who have tmj, do you do weight training? do you have to avoid going heavy with weights?
With my headache issues, I don't think I will ever do squats again, because of having that experience of nasty headaches, feel it is too much a risk.
