Q: Exercise to burn calories ?

Since I started working out and watching my diet 4 months ago I've lost about 3 inches around my belly, which is less than ideal but i now have a 34" belly (I'm 5'4" tall to give you a little reference) and I read that 35" and bigger is unhealthy for women so since i'm barely under does that mean i'm unhealthy too? Also I work really hard but since i dropped those first 3 inches i've kinda stopped losing the belly fat altogether so are there any forms of exercise that burn a good amount of calories that i should be aware of other than bicycling and running which I do everyday (I can't really swim well so I lose out on any benefits that can come from that) how's hiking for example, or jumping rope, or rebounding?

i think you should concentrate on exercise that focus on your mid-section. for example crunches, sit ups.
i think a good think to do is buy a exercise dvd for your abs.

do bodyweight circuit exercises..your workouts should have different range altogether..if youre doing the same exercise over and over again..this wont help you burn much calories over the time as the body is getting used to it already

There's only one food commonly available in the world, raw broccoli, consumes more calories than it gives you. It is safe to assume that any meal or snack you eat is going to increase your caloric intake. Exercise burns calories period. Just breathing in and out consumes more calories than eating a pound of broccoli. Diet is an important part of weight loss, choosing foods and serving sizes that provide you the nutrition you need to remain active while reducing fats sodium and calories is essential to weight loss. Exercise, and even only a moderate amount of exercise, is the best thing you can do to reduce your weight.

Exercise is a good way to burn fat but it would be much effective if it is done with a healthy diet. It hastens the process plus you get to live a real healthy lifestyle.
