My mom keeps bugging me with saying I need to get exercising but I don't feel motivated! What does everyone do to keep in shape right now? I really think I want to do pregnancy yoga and swim. But with the latter, I'm freaking out about going out in a swimsuit! haha

You don't have to exercise, just stay fit. Couldn't you just go out for a walk once a day if you don't have the motivation? I didn't have the time to exercise while i was pregnant because i was in year 11 doing my GCSE's so all the exercise i did was walking, occassionally swimming with my neice and nephew but even then i only did about one length before i got bored and decided that playing with them in the shallow end looked way more fun lol.

staying active is good to do while pregnant, going for a walk, a swim..
i go for walks around the mall with my fiance, and once ina while go for a swim too, but i do more walking, up and down stairs at school, and so on.
Its good to be active while pregnant, it makes burning the baby weight after pregnancy too.

You really should actually exercise. It will make l&d easier. You can do anything you could while you weren't pregnant except on-floor ab exercises, traditional yoga and anything that could damage your cervix (horse back riding, elliptal trainers, etc).

I played DDR while I was pregnant with my second and third. My girlfriend ran until she was about 7 months pregnant (then she turned into a beached whale Razz)

Yeah my mom says I need to keep my little muscles in shape! For birth and carrying and lifting the baby after! haha with me she said she played volleyball (minus the diving) up until her belly was in the way of her arms. Its funny because I was big on volleyball and played for a long time. Probably could have gone to college for it but quit. With my second sister she mostly just slept, never exercised... my sister sleeps ALL the time. My second sister... she ran & swam almost her whole pregnancy and my sister is really into both. I wonder if I swim, my baby will be a swimmer too! haha its so crazy.

its good to stay active though, just to make it easier on your body while things are stretching and such, it makes delivery easier, and also makes it easier to lose the weight after. Do you have a pregnancy book?
I have one, and it shows some stretches pregnant women can do, what activities pregnant women can also do while pregnant, a few examples:
bike ride [or to be safer cycling on an exercise bike]
swimming/water aerobics
walking
strenght training [do not hold your breath while lifting any weights and aviod heavy lifting] leg curls in lay down position, bent-over dows, dead lifts etc.
Low-impact aerobics[be cautious of lifting knees to high]
Step(bench) aerobics
These are all ok to do while pregnant, as long as you do them with caution.
I myself dont do all these, but i walk alot more, and do some stretching.
