Q: Excessive Saliva

What causes this symptom?

I've seen it on the list of symptoms and I suffer terribly from it. I don't have anything in my mouth like a splint or dentures or anything like that either. Just TMJ and gobs of saliva ALL the time, especially after I eat or drink anything, it stimulates it (which is normal for food and drink to stimulate saliva) but does so excessively, even after I'm done eating or drinking I have so much saliva all the time. And I can't figure out if it's because the salivary glands literally are sereting more or I'm not swallowing properly due to TMJ and that's causing it.

Does anyone have this symptom as well and do we know why it's a symptom of TMJ?

Thanks.

Consult this problem in its early stage itself.
