I am 73 years old and around 3 1/2 years ago, I noticed that there was some white mucus in my stool. At the time, I didn't pay any attention and assumed that's normal. Couple months ago, it started to get worst (Excessive mucus in stool). Went to see couple doctors and had colonoscopy. It detected a polyp not too far from anus. Doctor suspected that polyp discharging the mucus and advised to remove it. Does anyone has a similiar symstom like me. A desperated woman. You can also write me. Thanks in advance.
