Q: Excessive bleeding after loss of virginity
asked by: DoctorQuestion on January 17th, 2009
I HAD SEX FOR THE FIRST TIME 3 DAYS AGO, AFTER MY CHERRY POP I HAVEN'T STOP BLEEDING. IS THIS NORMAL? I CHECKED IN THE MIRROR AND IT SEEMS LIKE THE VAGINA IS RIPE. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF IS NECESSARY FOR ME TO GO AND SEE A DOCTOR OR IF IT WILL HEAL BY ITSELF, I AM ALSO WORRIED IF IS EVER GOING BACK TO NORMAL, NOT EXACTLY AS I HAD IT, BUT SIMILAR TO HOW IT LOOKED BEFORE?!

If the bleeding from a broken hymen doesn’t stop in the next few days you should consult a gynecologist.
