Q: evening bleeding on Depo Provera ?

Hi, Ive been on 3month injection depo Provera for about 1year and never had periods headstand

however in the last week and a half i have been bleeding..my husband and I had sex and after that i was bleeding also however it seems to stop and start it always seems to be at the same time of day in the evening and is heavy bleeding for about 1hr and then just stops again? I also have really bad stomach cramps.

Any advice would be great Rolling Eyes

Some spotting is common with Depo, even after being on it for a long period of time - I was still bleeding randomly nine months in. However, you ARE supposed to talk to your doctor whenever the bleeding becomes heavy.

I would recommend making an appointment with your doctor. Don't forget to mention the severe stomach cramps.
