Hey i've been going threw a lot the last few months and still have no real answers. I found out i was pregnat then had massive pain they assumed i was miscarring what they thought was the baby ended up being a cyst. They also thought it was an etopic so they gave me metho. and also did a d&c threw this time and still no results on a baby and i was still having horrible pain on my right side and back also with lots of pressure in my pelvic and rectum area, i also had bled for 2 months some days light and some as a regular period. Now they found a mass 14 cm in my right adnexa near right ovary and want to do surgery to remove it all but this was all 2 months ago when i was going threw the pain and bleeding.Time has passed an i've had no pain and periods went back to regular days and regular flow except for a couple days of the last period i lost some really big clots. Now i have not had pain or any irregular bleeding for a month and a half should i still get surgery or do you think it was the pregnacy in my tube and it had passed. Any info would help ease my mind i don't want to lose my ovaries unless i really needed to.

My advice is if you were told there was a mass, that you be sure it isn't cancer and won't grow anymore and cause you anymore trouble. With that out of the way, if they must do surgery, they should only have to take your right ovary to remove the mass, and you will still have one left, which means you can still have kids, if that's why you want to keep them.

You should still go in and make sure your sex organ health is okay, because putting off a problem now, may result in trying to solve a bigger and more expensive one in the future, followed by infertility. Try (if you can) on getting a second opinion if you do not trust what the doctors you are going to have told you.

I hope this helps you to decide what you would like to do. I wish you luck in all of your endevours.
