My friend was just diagonsed with and estrogen receptor advanced breast cancer with Metastatic Bone Disease. She has decided to do a clinical trial using Letrozole with Dasathinib. I have read about the progression of the cancer but I was wondering what her approximate life expectancy is?

Thanks for using this forum...

Breast cancer with metastatic disease was quite dismal a few years back but with the new chemotherapy agents and radiation the life expectancy has considerably increased and the quality has also increased.

It will be difficult to guess expectancy and it requires examination and scans to foretell,but chemotherapy really helps and she should not loose heart...
