thanks everyone! i am so in love! i can't believe i'd forgotten what it's like to hold a newborn. i never want to put her down!

finn's warming up a little. he creeps over to peek at her every now and again, and if i ask who she is he says "baby". earlier he looked at her, and i think it was just a funny coincidence, but he said "byebye baby".

our first night home was a little rough, but only because of my pain. she was actually quite good, but got very fussy around 3:30 and kept losing her binky. it was killing me to have to keep getting up to give it to her (i think i was up and down about 10 times in an hour, not fun after a c-section), so i ended up bringing her to the couch to sleep on me for a couple hours. i need a few more days to heal and i'm sure everything will be great.
