Im 25yrs old & never had a physical exam.
I had a bad experience at a hospital, when I was getting surgery for a hernia. I got really hard erection's when the doctor had to massage my testicles to relieve the pain. They only went down when he was not holding my testicles or lower penis. Im very nervous that i will get an erection If my genitals are touched. Im sure doctors see this all the time, but Its difficult for me..
Do you have to have your genitals checked when you have a physical exam? If so, what can I say If I get an erection? Apart from the hospital, no doctors have seen that area..

Yes you do need to get everything checked when you get a physical. You don't need to say anything as doctors see guys with erections all the time. I always get an erection when the doctor retracts my foreskin and again when he does the prostate exam. I'm over 50 and prostate exams are very important so if I get an erection so what. Don't stop seeing the doctor cause of this your health is too important.

Nope, no erection ever when getting a prostate or hernia exam. Pretty much the most un-sensual thing that happens. Male doctor with big fingers. Don't worry about it if it does happen, they're doctors and have probably seen it all.

Yea erections during physicals are pretty common from what I've heard and read. It happens to me all the time, I don't worry about it because I can't control it. My doctor is cool about it.

Thanks everyone, It seems alright then... I guess I'll just have to show the Doc & hope I dont, but It does seem pretty common.

I just got out of the Navy. When I had my entrance exam, I had not jacked off for at least a week. The doc was doing that prostate exam with a wet gooey finger up my butt feeling the prostate and he was pushing on it and suddenly my penis went erect and squirted sperm all over the floor. I was terribly embarrassed and my penis would not go soft. All the doctor said was that I was very healthy.
