When a womans nipples get hard. What does that mean? I know when its cold they tend it get hard but what if its not cold. Do female nipples get erect like a male does?

Womens' nipples get erect because there are nerve endings all up in there! When they are stimulated (by cold like you mentioned...or by arousal, or any other means) they get erect. Not that scientific of an answer, but hope that helps.
