Here's my story...

I remember the first time it happened, I was 14 and on my way to the store with my mom and all of a sudden excess saliva began to accumulate in my mouth along with pains in my upper abdomen and I remember feeling a intense urge to vomit and burp. Since then, I've been getting these episodes randomly. They can last anywhere from a day to a week sometimes I actually vomit and sometimes I just have the urge, but I always feel pain in my upper stomach when it happens.

I am now 21 and I feel like I have exhausted all my options. I went to the doctor and was prescribed protonix for acid reflux, but it doesn't help. My worst episode was during my freshman year in college, I was nauseous for about 4 days, occasionally vomited and was eventually sent to the ED due to dehydration. I've learned to simply bear the symptoms and wait it out when I get these random bouts of nausea and pain, but I would love for it to just be solved once and for all and enjoy a normal life. Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Ask your doctor to take an Ultrasound of your gall bladder
I would go to the doctor and ask him to take an ultrasound of your gall bladder when you have vomiting and pain it could be something with your gall bladder but to be safe have it checked out I had mine checked yesterday because I had nausea it is very simple procedure
