Q: EPILETICS

Hi my name is maryam muhammad and i'm an epileptic i've wondered about my medical condition for years expecially about my sezuries and my being able to work i'm still trying to figure out if i'd be able to work or is there anything i can do to be able to work besides controlling them because i've been doing that but everytime i go in for an interview they tend to get frantic when they ask my medical background

Thank you for listening anything you know would be a big help to me

hello and welcome. there is no reason why you should not work if you are controlling your seizures.
It does mean your choice of job would be limited for example if you drive, or use dangerous machinery, or work involving heights.
there are various types of epilepsy but you don,t mention which one.?
they are grand mal, petit mal,simple partial/complex siezures.
Its always good to carry a card with you also so your work collegues are aware and know what to do if you took one.
