Hello I am also new here.
Do you mean the Chalfont epilepsy hospital?
If so I have been there as an in-patient, for 10 day’s last year.
It is in the most beautiful grounds and has it’s own little shop they also have little cottages and houses as some people that have severe epilepsy are unable to live alone. It is absolutely huge, and they have the most up to date MRI scans and equipment in the world.
The staff are amazing and so helpful although the food is awful!
Are you going as an in-patient?
Once you arrive you will be put into a small area with 3 others, for the first 5 day’s and you are literally monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
It is mixed although you do have separate quarters; however you all mix freely during the day. They have lots of games, a TV area, Table tennis and such likes to keep you occupied. The only snag being you are not allowed out of the building alone at any time and must always be accompanied by a member of staff or who ever visits you. But in general a great place. I hope this has been of some help please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Best wishes Sheniz.
