My husband is having epilepsy. He had last seizure 3 months back and is continuing medicines. We wish too have a baby soon but are concerned about the health of the baby as my husband is having epilepsy. We heard that it can be hereditary. But in his family except him no one is having epilepsy. Kindly advice the steps that we can take to ensure that we could have a healthy baby.Doctor has asked him to stop medication after a year provided he is not getting any seizures from here after.Is it advisable to wait till the medication is over.Kindly advise us.
