i take 2 lamotrigine every day.is there any problem with useing alcohole while i have epilepsy?

I used to take lamotragine and now take Lamictal XR (along with Vimpat and Lyrica). I've never had problems with alcohol, but do be careful, because the day after a bender, the alcohol in your system will often block your meds from being absorbed and processed the way they should, which can make you have seizures. Just be careful on St. Patrick's Day and New Year's Eve.
