Hi , For the past few months i have experienced a feeling of somthing stuck in the throat & when i try to sleep my throat seems to relxx too much to breath.
My Uvula has become very long & maybe its that what is blocking the airway. Anyway, just a few mins ago I put my finger down the back of my tongue & i could feel my epigollitus. It feels quite big & it feels like ths could be causing my prob;ems breathing while resting. When i eat, I can breath much better. I am having my Uvula lasered off tomorrow & also some of the loose tissue on the soft palate removed aswell. I did have post nasal drip a few months ago but that appears to have stopped now. I also have a deviated septum aswell which will be soon put right. It feels like the epigollitus (when resting) is sort of stuck in the middle not closing properley.
Does anyone have any reccommendations ?
I am going to ask the laser surgeon tomorrow for his advice.
It also looks like i have oral thrush which i could have had a long time.
cheers
