About a month ago I woke up one morning, and my lower right abdomen ,and right testicle were hurting. The pain was almost like a groin pull so i shrugged it off for a few days. Then all of a sudden the pain stopped. I had read online that it could be a small infection so i thought nothing more about it. After a few days i started noticing that my right testicle was become more sensitive to touch and when i urinated my right testicle would have pain. I went to the doctor and he ran a urine culture but found nothing and told me i was just dehydrated. As i said it is a month later and the pain when urinating is still there in my right testicle but that is the only symptom. I have not been sexually active so it is not an STD, could it be epidydimitus?

Epidydimitis would cause a lot of sudden pain. Epidydimitis is a bacterial infection, so the doc would have found it through a urine test. Additionally, a blood test may be needed as well as the culture of prostate secretions. Epidydimitis often causes fever and scrotal swelling and you would definitely know something's terribly wrong.
