I had a right ingenual hernia operation in dec. of 2011...it is now july of 2012 and I have an elongated lump under the right teste. It is mildly annoying in that it aches in a MINOR fashion almost every day. I DID have the surgeon re-check the area in March and he said: "No worries, it's just the epididymis"........and I can't disagree after THOROUGHLY checking the anatomical charts online: however, the tail of the epididymis has the elongated lump on the END of it: I can feel it and KNOW that's what it is....so what now? It isn't getting better, and isn't OVERLY painful but irritating on a daily basis: will it go away or do I have to go back to the surgeon: AGAIN? Thanks in advance for any advice docs and forum viewers.
