Q: ENT or neurologist?

I have been having a weird cluster of symptoms. My gp has indicated that I may need to see a neurologist but I am wondering if an ENT would be a better choice. I have found a neurologist I think I could work with so I am a little reluctant to change, but if an ENT would have answers it would be worth it. I had these symptoms for 6 weeks last fall, around 2 weeks in the spring, and now for the past week.'

Sudden onset of EXTREME dizziness lasting up to 6 hours
sweaty
clammy
disoriented
irritable
feel like I am going to pass out
tiredness
weakness
loss of appetite
chest tremors (it feels like my rib cage is having muscle spasms)

my glucose levels and CBC were normal. When not having an attack my EKG, pulse, and urine was all normal. I have a thyroid test out and they want to do liver and kidney tests. If those all come back clean (or before if I get worse) it is off to see a specialist. My gp mentioned inner ear conditions and said that may be possible. Still though, he admitted that he really just did not know. I am in my early 20s by the way. Thanks!

I'd start out with an ENT since you have stated what part of the year that you experience these episodes.

I too experience these types of feelings when the weather changes. You'd be amazed when one is dizzy how it affects the rest of you... My worse is Spring and Fall and if there is a strong front that pushes through that can affect me as well.
