It was called a Flow Cytometry Immunophenotypic Report, which basically looks at your blood on the cellular level and they can check lymphocytes, myeloid cells, debris, etc. I know this is the test my oncologist did to help diagnose the lymphoma. This helped confirm the bone marrow biopsy, and made sense with the enlarged spleen. After my 6 weeks chemo my spleen was back to normal 15cm size. Keep in mind I was 40, and my lymphoma was Stage 4 (the worst), so of course it was in my bone marrow. However, the lymphs and organs could only be Stage 1, it later goes into the bones. And, of course, it may not be lymphoma at all but maybe an immune defiency of some sort. The spleen is key to your immune system so I'd research what makes the spleen have trouble? Think IMMUNE and I'm sure you'll find your answer. Stay healthy.
