Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

Endometriosis does present with abdominal and associated pains which can be felt in the back at times. The pains are very severe. There are various options available for the treatment as removal of the tissue or Hysterectomy that is entire uterus removal.
Your treating Doctor would be better to guide you as a complete pelvic assessment is required so that the next plan of action can be decided.
Take care!

I experienced the same pain for about the last 1&1/2 to 2 years. I finally had ultrasound and surgery to find endometriosis in left tube. They removed my left tube in December. It did help with the pulling between my side and back. However, I still have some pain in side (hasn't been but a few weeks though so prob just needs to heal more) and still having some pain in back during period, but only during period now. Don't know how this was causing pulling but I do know that part of it has gone away. Good luck on your surgery, I hope it takes care of everything.
