In October 20th i was diagnosed with endometriosis.Nov. 25 I got a laparoscopy. In Jan. 18 I started Lupron. Now I finished and Im still having pain the doctors dont know why. Ive had a ct scan that discovered I was constipated. Also through October-May Ive had a constant sore throat. Now since May 12-17 i took antibiotics for strep throat, i havent had one. Ive had a couple swollen lymph nodes. Now I have a swollen, painful node by my groin. I recently get very nauseous all day and is worst when Im hungry. Also, Ive been craving sugar and since I started having abdominal pain in Oct Ive been gaining alot of wait. Could this be something, what else should I look out for or am I js being a hypochondriac and its all caused by my Lupron injections?

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

Since you are gaining weight, have a carving for sugar, and a family hisoty, test for diabetes. Diabetes can slow down peristaltic movement of gut and cause constipation.

Apart from diabetes hypothyroidism, colon disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticular diseases, cancers, severe acidity etc can all cause constipation.

Also to me it appears as though you also have severe acidity and GERD. Take omeprazole empty stomach in morning and see if it helps. Eat a healthy diet with lot of fiber and fluid.

A proper investigation is required preferably by a gastroenterologist (a doctor who looks after the digestive system) to know what is the cause. The treatment will follow correct diagnosis. Hope this helps. Take care!
