Hello
This is my first posting. I have had a consistently high CA 125 for about a year and a half. My first reading was 200. I had several tests - CT of abdomen, internal ultrasound, etc. Found I had a small fibroid - waited it out a year and had another CA125 - reading of 100 -also had lots of abdominal pain and bloating, etc during that year. OB/GYN suggested laproscopic evaluation to see if I had endo., and we decided to be conservative if findings allowed so as not to put me in surgical menopause. When she went in my left ovary and fallopian tube were full of endometrosis. Everything else looked great. She removed left ovary and tube and fibroids - biopsied fibroids -came back fine. 2 months later I asked for a repeat CA125 just for piece of mind. It came back 189. Wondering if anyone has had this situation. I was thinking the reading would be mormal or close to normal (under 35) since she removed all of the endo... Any ideas?
